James McCulloch BSc (Hons) OBE (services to British exports)
James McCulloch has over 27 years experience developing agricultural animal health and nutritional management systems for the UK and international farming industries. He offers a key advisory service to farmers and James’ philosophy is that if he can’t assist with a problem on the farm, he’ll be able to find someone who can.
James Chairs a European task force charged with proposing a harmonised legislative framework for nutritional supplements for animals and has also sat on UK Government committees at regional and national level to advise on Government export policy. Through extensive EU lobbying, James has enabled effective UK animal nutrition and health systems to become available to farmers throughout the EU and beyond.
James has helped Agrimin Ltd develop export sales in most EC countries, especially the recent accession states of Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Poland and those wishing to join including Turkey and Romania. Other newly opened markets include Australia, New Zealand and more remote areas such as Iceland and The Azores. In 2004 James was awarded an OBE for services to British Exports.
James lives in rural Lincolnshire with his wife and two children. When he’s not working or travelling overseas he can be found windsurfing, mountain biking or walking his dogs across the Lincolnshire Wolds.
