Agrimin employees take part in kayaking challenge for charity

On 22nd July 2012 Agrimin employees Nick De Kok and James Peace completed a Kayaking challenge with two friends Keiron and Leigh in aid of a charity called JACKS. The challenge involved the four friends kayaking from Snitterby Carr to Brigg Leisure Centre.
Keiron and Leigh’s nephew Jack sadly died of a mystery illness that was never diagnosed. The JACKS charity was set up in memory of Jack by his mother Verity. The aim of the charity is to provide support for carers and kids who have an undetermined diagnosis,  or a diagnosis which have disabilities and additional needs. The goals of the charity are to offer  respite facility for families, providing a facility with stimulating environments for fun games and proactive learning and progression.

It took the team a respectable two and a half hours to complete the challenge. Fortunately for them the sun was shining and the conditions were good.

Nick De Kok who was part of the team said

“We all feel very proud to have supported such a worthwhile cause ”
