Irish National Ploughing Championships 22nd - 24th September 2015
National Irish Ploughing Championships 2015
Irish sales manager Colm Malone, along with Sales Support
manager Emma Jacob, attended the 3 day National Irish Ploughing Championships
including visits from Marketing Director James McCulloch OBE and Ireland and UK
Sales Manager Mark Armstrong.
With more than 281,000 attending over the 3 days it was
amazing to see so much interest in, and support for, the agricultural sector in
Over 1500 exhibitors were present at the event providing
plenty to look at and explore over the three days.
Although the main topic of our conversations involved beef
cattle, there was still plenty of interest within the sheep and dairy sectors. This
demonstrates that farmers from all aspects of livestock farming are interested
in how trace element supplementation can benefit their stock. Trace elements
continue to be at the forefront of Irish farmers minds, with bolusing becoming
a very popular form of supplementation.
Agrimin were exhibiting within the Irish Aberdeen Angus
Society’s marquee. With some fantastic stock on show and breeders that were so passionate
about their animals, it was a complete honour to be part of their exhibit.
The 85th National Ploughing Championships will take place in
Screggan, Tullamore, Co Offaly from Sept 20th – 22nd 2016
Agrimin would like to thank all involved and especially the
Irish Aberdeen Angus Society for their kind hospitality and look forward to
next year’s event.
