Trace elements essential to optimal growth
Many beef cattle fail to achieve top growth rates because they do not receive adequate levels of trace elements at grass, according to Annie Williams, animal scientist at Agrimin.
She says: "While early season grazed grass provides the energy and protein cattle require, it can often be low in essential trace elements, meaning animals face a shortfall unless they receive effective supplementation.
